Dropout of torsion spring/wear out of stop pin
- Contact mark on the teeth of spline and the end of hub
- Burrs at the end of hub due to uneven wear on the spline teeth
- Damaged torsion springs
- Damaged facing material
- Oily facings
- Broken facings
- Wear out on teeth of spline / Cushion spring steel segments separated from hub area
- Rust on the teeth of spline hub
- Unable to install the clutch disc to the main drive shaft
- Dropout of torsion spring/wear out of stop pin
- Hit mark to spline teeth and end surface. Crack to clutch plate.
Cause
1) Misalignment
2) Inappropriate driving
(Frequent use of shift down when the clutch gets to high rotation)
3) Use with high torque engine
Solution
1) Be careful to do appropriate driving
2) In case of sports car with high torque engine, we recommend to use our sports clutch.
