Clutch Cover Type Description
There are functionaly 8 different types in clutch cover.
LB : LEVER BOSS TYPE
Pressure Plate and Cover are directly clawed and fixed.
DT : DIAPHRAGM TAG TYPE
Diaphragm type and Pressure Plate and Cover are fixed by Strap Plate. Cover holds Diaphragm Spring.
LS : LEVER STRAP TYPE
Pressure Plate and Cover are fixed by the strap plate.
PL : PULL TYPE
Release Bearing is fixed on the edge of Diaphragm Spring and pull the Release Bearing.
DB : DIAPHRAGM BOSS TYPE
Diaphragm type and Pressure Plate and Cover are fixed directly.
TW : TWIN PLATE TYPE
Two Discs are used in one cover.
DS : DIAPHRAGM STRAP TYPE
Diaphragm type and Pressure Plate and Cover are fixed by strap plate. Diaphragm and Cover are fixed by Stud Pins.
DU : UNITY TYPE
Basically the similar design as DT and, specailly designed to utilize common parts.
